The Padstow Community Championship was held on Saturday 06/04/2024.

We have 40 players competing in 3 events. Countless supporters witnessing these exciting games.

A special Thank You to the following people;

  • Douglas Flood as the referee.
  • Michael & Glenda Thane and Anita Un for their help in the BBQ area. 

 

Division 1 - The winner is JunJian Jessy Chen, Runner-up is Anthony Leung, and Finalists are Colin Deng and Ronald Gunawan

 

 

Division 2 - The winner is Stephen Kwong, Runner-up is Maximos Papacostantinou, and Finalists are Grant Liu and Harry Phan 

 

 

Division 3 - The winner is Dylan Li, Runner-up is Noah Wang, and Finalists are Alvin Yuan and Zander Bugeja

East Hills Open Championship was held on Saturday 01/04/2023.

It was a successful championship, 12 winners received medals.

 

Division 1 - The winner is Feynman An, Runner-up is Setyp Utomo, 3rd is David Vasington

 

Division 2 - The winner is Gerry Li, Runner-up is Maximos Papacostantinou, 3rd is Anh Tang

 

Division 3 - The winner is Stephen Kwong, Runner-up is Louis Chen, 3rd is Dylan Li

Matches will start at 9 am, and finish early in the afternoon.

BBQ Lunch will be provided for all players.

TOURNAMENT CONDITIONS

  1. The Tournament Committee reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to refuse entries into the tournament by any player, and if the Tournament Committee exercises this discretion, it will notify the player accordingly and refund any monies paid.
  2. The Tournament Committee reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any player displaying acts of bad sportsmanship.
  3. The tournament shall be held under the laws and regulations of the ITTF and TTA.
  4. ITTF Rules regarding racket and clothing regulations will be enforced.
  5. All matches will be the best of five (5) advantage games up to 11 points.
  6. All players will be required to umpire a minimum of one match per event entered. Losers shall remain on the table and umpire the next match.
  7. No glueing or re-glueing of rackets is permitted inside the playing venue.
  8. ITTF-approved STIGA Premium Roller 25mm and DOUBLE FISH 3 stars V40+ or equivalent will be used for the tournament.
  9. The Tournament Committee reserves the right to grade the players and its decisions shall be final. No claim shall be made by any player in relation to the decisions.
  10. Persons attending the tournament are responsible for their personal belongings. No claim for any loss or damage shall be made against Padstow NSW Table Tennis Club.
  11. No refunds will be allowed to players withdrawing during or prior to the tournament and no show on the day.

Padstow table tennis club is in the city of Canterbury Bankstown, it is located just 3 minutes off the M5 South-West Motorway, neighbouring Revesby, Picnic Point, Panania, East Hills, Belmore, Riverwood, Roseland, Lakemba, Menai, Mortdale, Oatley. Or a short drive from St George and Sutherland Shire, Bangor, Gymea, Miranda, Taren Point, Caringbah, Kirrawee, Yagoona, Hurstville, Beverly Hills, Illawong, Kingsgrove, Georges Hall, Condell Park, Fairfield.

 

Transport

You can also take a train to Padstow station, which is located on the East Hills line, served by Sydney trains T8 Airport and South line services, Or you can take a bus to Padstow from Hurstville, Bankstown, Miranda, Illawong, Menai, Sutherland, Liverpool, Milperra, Peakhurst.

 

 

Sydney Table Tennis, Padstow Table Tennis Club Championship was held on Saturday 10/04/2021.

It was a successful championship, 6 winners received medals.
